About Alborz

Alborz Educational Centre is a private school, fully approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Our Farsi Language School is also a private school and fully approved by the Iranian Ministry of Education.

ALBORZ School is a co-educational, multi-cultural, university preparatory school, located in Toronto. Our Canadian School teaches students from Grade 9 to university entrance, and our Farsi Language School teaches students from grade 1 to grade 12, with an education rich in diverse learning experiences and personal achievements. Alborz provides an excellent education, through high expectations of academic achievement and caring individual support, to enable students to learn, to grow, and to become responsible, productive, and contributing members of the global community.

Our purpose is to prepare students to fulfill their full potential in higher education and in adult life. We believe that all pursuits should be aimed at bringing about a sense of service to the community, respect for others, and a desire to use individual talents to the full.

Our educational program prepares students for university and beyond. To meet students’ needs and to ensure that our students can enter to top Canadian universities, Alborz offers programs including: Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), English Preparatory Program for Foreign Graduate and Under-graduate Students (EPP), Language Proficiency Program (LPP), TOEFL, and more. Our EPP-G helps University or High School graduates pursue Master, PhD or Bachelor degrees. Our EPP-U helps high School students obtain OSS Diploma and pursue Bachelor degrees while still learning English at Alborz. Our LPP designed to integrate students into the regular English programs and into the society. LPP and EPP provide instruction for students whose first language is not English.

If students study hard and successfully finish the courses especially arranged for them, they could be expected to enter the best Canadian universities such as: University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, Ryerson University, Mc-Master University, Queen's University, University of Western Ontario, York University, University of Ottawa, etc.
All our teachers possess a PhD, a Master degree or a Bachelor degree from Canadian Universities and have valuable prior teaching experience.
Guidance at Alborz includes course selection and adjustment, University Major selection, university application, etc.
More than 20 kinds of free services include cable internet, free email, visa extension advice, local telephone, computer rooms, cable TV, etc.
A Mobile Toronto Public Library is located in front of Alborz School every Saturdays. By presenting your ID to the librarian, you will be issued with a library card. There is no charge for the services.
The school is within walking distance of Center Point Mall and Yonge St. By bus, subway, and street-car you can reach downtown Toronto, the University of Toronto, Ryerson University, York University, the Ontario Art Gallery, the Royal Ontario Museum, the CN Tower, Sky-dome, Lake Ontario, City Hall, etc.
